Officials: 3 Teens Taken To Hospital After Falling Through Pond In Bucks County
CHALFONT, Pa., (CBS) -- Officials say three teenage boys are in the hospital after falling through the ice on a drainage pond in Bucks County.
It happened around 2 p.m. Sunday, near Pipers Place at the Brittany Farms-Highlands development in Chalfont, according to officials.
Police in New Britain Township say one of the three 13-year-olds was pulled from the frigid water.
When officials arrived, they found two of the teens sitting on a drain in the middle of the retention pond. A water rescue team used a raft to get them to safety, according to officials.
Officials say all three were taken to local hospitals. Authorities say they're expected to be OK.
