Water Main Break Causing Flooding, Traffic Problems In Northern Liberties
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews are working to repair a broken water main in Northern Liberties.
The 12-inch main burst around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at North Front Street and West Girard Avenue, causing some flooding, and forcing the road to be closed off to traffic.
The Philadelphia Water Department is on the scene.
As a result, SEPTA is using shuttle buses for passengers who ride the Route 15 trolley.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
