Water Geyser Floods Frankford Avenue
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Water crews working along Frankford Ave. in Northeast Philadelphia were greeted by a geyser of water as they began a job fixing a valve Wednesday.
The Philadelphia Water Department says one of the valves wasn't closed tightly enough and it cause water to start shooting out. The crews were able to close off the valve quickly and no damage reported.
The incident happened at about 11:30 a.m. in the 7700 block of Frankford Avenue near Lansing Street, in the city's Mayfair section.
One lane of Frankford Avenue was closed in the area.
