Warminster Police Recover Stolen Items, Seek Owners On Saturday
WARMINSTER, Pa. (CBS) - Items taken in a string of suburban car burglaries have been recovered, and Warminster police are now looking to return them to their rightful owners.
Authorities recently recovered many iPods, phone cases, GPS units, and a camera from a car that was suspected to be connected to a string of vehicle break-ins that spanned several neighborhoods in the township and occurred between September and December of last year.
Detective John Bonargo says some victims may not even know they were victimized.
"There could be people that could have not reported it or may not even know if an item's been taken from a car. We're hoping to identify the rest of the property," he told KYW Newsradio on Friday.
Warminster police are asking anyone who believes they may have had something stolen to view the items on Saturday, between 11 AM and 2 PM, in the Warminster township building. You should bring an ID and any proof that the item belongs to you.
Police say the investigation is continuing and they expect to make an arrest in the case shortly.
