Voters Head To The Polls In New Jersey

CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) -- A steady stream of voters hit the polls at Cherry Hill High School East Tuesday morning.
They faced one of the most anticipated races for campaign 2013 – the next Governor of New Jersey.
Incumbent Republican Chris Christie is facing off against Democratic State Senator Barbara Buono.
"I did vote for Miss Buono," said voter Mark Reiner.
"Chris Christie, he's my man," said Ronald Brenner.
The latest Quinnipiac University poll shows Governor Christie with a strong lead -- 61 % to 33 % among likely voters.
Six percent of those polled were undecided.
"I like the way [Christie] melded with President Obama," said voter Ronald Brenner.
Others said they don't like Governor Christie's politics and feel State Senator Buono best represents the state, where democrats outnumber republicans by 700,000 registered voters.
"I think philosophically I agree more with her than I do with Christie," said Reiner.
While Governor Christie has a substantial lead in that latest poll, it comes down to voter turnout.
Many Buono supporters are hoping she can pull off an upset.
Polls close in New Jersey at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
