Viral Video Leads To Fast Food Restaurant Closing, Some Employees Out Of The Job

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia fast food restaurant is now closed, temporarily, after a profanity laced video featuring several employees describing disgusting acts, went viral.

A Facebook live video, believed to have been taken in the kitchen of the Checkers restaurant on the 7100 block of Stenton Avenue. In it, the worker in the video, identified as Richard Benson, talks about his coworkers having sex with customers and spitting in their food, among other things.

"I'm about to wash the floor with these buns. You stop though."

There he claims to wash floor with the buns.

Benson says he's a hip-hop artist and the things said, never happened behind the scenes at the restaurant and it was all a big joke - a publicity stunt.

Checkers, not taking the situation lightly.

Several employees were fired, the restaurant closed temporarily. The company says they are making sure the entire restaurant is fully sanitized and the employees there go through retraining.
