VIDEO: Woman Uses Child To Steal Wallet Inside Kensington Nail Salon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a female suspect who used a young child to steal a victim's wallet inside a nail salon and the entire incident was caught on surveillance video.
The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. on June 10th at the Magic Nail Salon located at 3258 North Front Street in Kensington.
Surveillance video shows the 43-year-old victim receiving a nail treatment with her pocketbook on the ground next to her.

At one point during the video, the suspect appears to instruct the child to slide the pocketbook over to where the suspect was sitting and the child then reaches into the pocketbook.
The video then shows the child taking out a small wallet and handing it to the suspect. The child then slides the pocketbook over near the victim, at which point the suspect and the young child walk out of the store.
The wallet contained various forms of identifications, as well several bank cards.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 20-years-old, with blond hair. She was wearing a grey shirt and black sweatpants.
