Video: Eagles Snow Bowl Highlights
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The biggest games in Eagles history have nicknames. There is the Fog Bowl, the Bounty Bowl, and the Miracle At The Meadowlands, 1, 2 and 3. Now, we have the Snow Bowl.
A game that appeared to be headed for disaster at 14-0 after a surprise snow storm dumped over six inches of snow on Lincoln Financial Field just prior to and during the Eagles game against the Lions on Sunday, ended up being a blowout win, a legendary performance from LeSean McCoy, and a new game to add to the ranks of the all-timers.
The 34-20 win featured 217 yards rushing and two touchdowns from McCoy, as well as Nick Foles turning around a disappointing performance by completing seven of his last nine passes.
The Eagles have put together a highlight film, along with some snow-themed music to go along with it.
