TEXAS (CBS) - A toddler in Texas received a cochlear implant, allowing her to hear for the first time.

The camera was rolling as little Ayla's device was activated during her hearing test.

The 1-year-old's mother was overcome with emotion as she held Ayla on her lap.

Ayla's father and siblings were also there for the special moment.
