Victim Struggles With Robber Armed With Shotgun Inside West Oak Lane Restaurant
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say a victim fought back during a robbery as two suspects, one armed with a shotgun, held him up inside a restaurant in West Oak Lane.
The incident happened on August 31st shortly before 1 a.m. at the Golden Chinese Restaurant on the 7200 block of Ogontz Avenue.

According to police, the 28-year-old male victim was inside the restaurant when two male suspects entered armed with a shotgun.
"They were cursing me out, just calling me all types of names," the victim said.
Police say as one of the suspects pointed the shotgun at the victim, the second suspect went through his pockets.
"'Shoot him, kill him', he is telling the guy, 'shoot him, kill him', just repeating it," the victim said.
That is when, the victim told CBS 3, he began fighting for his life -- trying to grab the shotgun as the robber opens fire, wounding him in the hip.
"I'm glad I'm still here," the victim said.
"This guy was an innocent victim, went into order some food just like anybody else would, and ended up fighting for his life," said Lt. George McClay.
Lt. McClay hopes the robber's sweatshirt, which carries a distinctive logo and phrase on the front and back, along with his hat, will help identify the pair, who he believes are from the neighborhood and could strike again.
"We need someone's help to turn these two guys in, before they do it to some poor person, besides this guy," said McClay.
Suspect #1 is described as a Black male, late teens to early 20's, dark complexion, medium build, twisted braids in hair, goatee, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black male, slim build, short black hair, wearing dark colored pants and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front "Rise and Grind" and "Blood Money Entertainment" on the rear.
