Suspect Wanted For Gas Station Robberies And Murder Of Attendant Remains On The Loose

DELRAN, NJ (CBS) – A bruised eye is Parshotam Singh's painful reminder of the attack he endured at the National Fuel gas station on Route 130 in Delran late Wednesday afternoon.
"Give me money, give me money," Singh says, describing the man's demands.
Singh says the suspect came in, threatened him with a knife, then punched him in the eye and side before grabbing his cash and fleeing.
"He is, in our view, extremely dangerous," says Burlington County Prosecutor Robert Bernardi.
Bernardi says charges were filed on Thursday against 34-year-old Zedrick Johnson, of Willingboro, for that robbery. Bernardi also says Johnson is charged with the murder of Bal Krishna Karki during a robbery at the Lukoil gas station at Route 130 north and Charleston Road in Willingboro, N.J. on February 11th and the armed robbery of money and a car at Willingboro's Sunny Food Mart on Feb. 12th. Johnson is still on the run.
"He's brazen, not afraid, and we need to get him off the streets as soon as possible," says Bernardi.
Bernardi adds that his office was comparing notes with Camden County officials who are investigating a series of recent carjackings in the Camden area.
In the Camden County incidents, a Collingswood woman says her silver GMC Envoy was taken Wednesday around 5 p.m. near Pacific Avenue.
She said the guy came to her, said, 'Give me the keys!' She said no," the victim's brother explains. "And he took out a knife, so she just gave the keys to the guy."
Collingswood police initially thought their carjacking suspect with the silver Envoy (see related story) was connected to the Delran gas station robbery a short time later, but witnesses there describe the Envoy the suspect drove as gold in color.
Both reports include Pennsylvania license plates, but the number taken in Delran did not match the one on the Envoy stolen in Collingswood.
