Vick: 'I'm Not Playing This Week'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Michael Vick and Nick Foles were side-by-side as they met with the media together on Thursday at the NovaCare Complex.
"I'm not playing this week," Vick said. "Every day I'm just working and trying to get better. I just can't rush it."
Vick injured his hamstring in the second quarter of the Eagles week 4 game against the Giants, and wants to make sure he is fully healthy before returning to the field.
"I tried to come out and push it a little today," Vick said. "It went well, but I don't want to push it too much."
Foles replaced Vick at quarterback and has led the Eagles to two straight wins. Foles has thrown for 542 yards, 6 touchdowns, and no interceptions this season.
Foles will make his second straight start on Sunday against the Cowboys.
"It's going to be fun to watch," Vick said.
