Ventnor Man Charged With 2006 Murder In Atlantic City
VENTNOR, NJ (CBS) – A Ventnor man who is already incarcerated for an unrelated incident has now been charged with a 2006 murder.
Laquay Williams, 34, has been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Jerrod Moss back in 2006.
Moss was fatally shot in a south New York Avenue parking lot in Atlantic City in the early morning hours of Dec. 29, 2006 during an alleged robbery.
Following an extensive six-year-long investigation, Williams was charged with murder, felony murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses on Feb. 14, 2013.
Superior Court Judge Bernard E. DeLury has set bail at $1 million. A first appearance by Williams in court is pending.
