Vandals Use Maple Syrup To Vandalize Pottstown Church

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating a strange case of vandalism at a church in Montgomery County.
The vandalism happened on June 10th at the Saint Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Pottstown Pike.
According to investigators, the vandals entered the church through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspects discharged several fire extinguishers throughout the church and poured maple syrup from a pantry onto the church's floors and pews.
The suspects stole a bottle of altar wine before fleeing.
So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
The investigation into the vandalism is ongoing.
