Valley Forge Casino Prepares For Grand Opening

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (CBS) -- The clock is ticking on the grand opening to the Valley Forge Casino. It's Pennsylvania's newest casino and President and CEO Saverio Scheri says workers have spent all day making sure it's perfect for tonight's event.
"The night club opens at nine, we're expecting a big crowd for that, as well as a lot of people from the public."
There are seven restaurants a nightclub, nearly 500-hotel rooms and a spa, just a stones throw from the King of Prussia mall.
This Casino has a different gaming license than the rest, which means in order to gamble you must spend at least ten dollars at the other attractions or patronize the bars or restaurants.
"We're small so we want the people who come here to be serious about their experience," Scheri says.
Across the border in Atlantic City, the Revel Hotel and Casino is set to open on Monday. They are promising to be the brightest and newest facility on AC's strip. But with so many casinos now competing for a piece of the jackpot, PA's Gaming Control Board reports winnings last month were down more than six percent over last year.
