Unsolved Murders Of 4 Atlantic City Prostitutes May Have Links To Long Island Murders
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Could there be a link between a string of murders on Long Island and the unsolved slayings of four Atlantic City prostitutes? Investigators in both locales are looking into it.
Detectives combing the Ocean Parkway in Suffolk County have found the remains of eight people since December; four in the last week. The first four, all female, were identified as Craigslist hookers, no word on the other four yet.
But there are reports that Kim Raffo, one of the Atlantic City victims found just off the Black Horse Pike more than four years ago, spent several weeks on Long Island in 2006 before boarding a bus to the Jersey shore.
Neither New York State nor Atlantic County authorities will confirm the reports but they do concede they've been in touch with each other to compare notes.
