Union Visits Montreal, Looking For Second Win

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Union will take a trip north of the border this weekend as they visit the Montreal Impact on Saturday.
Philadelphia is coming off a scoreless draw with Houston last weekend. That left them sitting at 1-2-5 for the season.
Philadelphia hasn't tasted victory since they shutout New England back on March 15th and center back Aaron Wheeler says they need to grab victory number two.
"Absolutely," Wheeler tells KYW Newsradio. "We firmly believe that if you built it, it will come. So just hoping that we continue to progress each week and eventually the goal's going to open up for us and were going to be able to break through for those three points and get a win and just go from there."

This match will have an interesting subplot as a couple of young forwards face their old teams. On April 4th the Union acquired Andrew Wenger from the Montreal Impact in exchange for forward Jack McInerney.
"Jack, he's one of the guys that's been here from the beginning," Wheeler says. "So it will be a little different to see him in something other than a Union jersey. But this weekend, unfortunately, he's our enemy, so we just have to make sure we don't let him slip through any cracks and get a goal on us."
This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season. The first took place a week before that big trade and ended in a 1-1 draw on March 29th in Chester. Philadelphia led 1-0 for much of the match before Montreal netted the equalizer in the 80th minute.
"We put together almost a complete game," Wheeler says. "We had one little mishap on a counter attack. Besides that I felt we controlled the game and they didn't really have any opportunities. Just from the first game we're able to take that we controlled the style of play, we controlled the tempo of the game and we just have to make sure that we're switched on all game, ready for any counter attack that could possibly happen."
Montreal brings an 0-4-3 ledger into Saturday's match, which begins at 4:00pm.
