Union Look To Continue Success Against New England

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Union take to the road on Saturday to visit the New England Revolution in MLS action.
Philadelphia improved to 3-2-2 and 2-1-1 on the road on Sunday with a 3-2 win at D.C. United.
That represented the first time Philadelphia has won in D.C. in MLS play.
"I think it was just staying together as a unit and kind of coming out with our gameplan and executing that gameplan," Union midfielder Michael Farfan tells KYW Newsradio about the win. "And I think we did pretty well to execute and get those three points on the road."
Philadelphia has played New England eight times in franchise history and eight times they have earned at least a point in the match-up, going 5-0-3, including a 1-0 win earlier this season. The Revolution sit at 1-3-2 here in 2013, but Farfan expects their "A" game on Saturday.

"I think it's going to be a good game," Farfan says. "I think they are going to come out flying, I know they need points and we also want to get points. So I think it will be a very tough game. I know we got three points on them early on in the season and I think they're going to come out and try and get revenge."
Philadelphia won just three games on the road in 2012, so they have been a much better team away from home here in 2013. Farfan breaks down the venue they travel to on Saturday in Foxborough.
"It's a place that's hard because it's turf and it's such a big stadium," Farfan says. "You kind of need to go in with focus and wake yourself up and be ready for competition. I know turf isn't the best thing in the world, but at the same time we have to deal with it and be ready to play."
Philadelphia and New England get underway at 7:30pm on Saturday night.
