Union Host Toronto FC Saturday
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The regular season is winding down for the Philadelphia Union. Just four matches left beginning with Saturday when they welcome Toronto FC to town.
Philadelphia picked up three huge points last time out as they went on the road and shutout Sporting Kansas City, 1-0. That snapped a five-match winless streak for the Union and moved them back into fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 42 points. The top five teams make the playoffs.
Despite the big win, Philadelphia is still struggling offensively. Inlcuding that goal in the the Sporting KC win, they have just two in their last six matches.
It has been a struggle all season long for Toronto. They have just 26 points this season.
These two teams have met twice already this season, both matches ending in 1-1 draws.
