Union Face Chicago In Critical Match Tonight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The regular season is winding down for the Philadelphia Union as they chase an MLS playoff berth. Just four matches remain starting with tonight's match-up with the Chicago Fire in Chester.
Philadelphia is 9-10-11 this season and with 38 points they sit 7th in the Eastern Conference. They trail fifth place New York by three points. The top five teams in each conference qualify for the postseason.
Last time out the Union lost to D.C. United down at RFK Stadium on Saturday, 1-0.
Chicago comes to town with a 5-8-16 record, good for 31 points. They are ninth in the ten-team Eastern Conference. They fell to Houston, 2-0, in their last match on Sunday.
These two teams played to a 1-1 tie back on July 19th in Bridgeview, Illinois. In their first meeting this season, they played to a 2-2 draw on April 5th. That match was also on the Fire's home pitch.
