U.S. Military Hacked; Apparent Personal Info of Officers Posted Online

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS) -- The official Twitter and Youtube accounts for the US military's Central Command were hacked today, and the Twitter account was then used to post a number of apparently sensitive files obtained by unknown means from the US military.
The hacking was accomplished by a group identifying themselves as ISIS, according to messages posted on CentCom's Twitter page.

Both the Twitter and Youtube page of CentCom were retitled "Cyber Caliphate," and the hackers posted anti-American slogans along with what appeared to be personal information of US military personnel and US military scenarios for war with China and North Korea.

Rob D'Ovidio, a cybersecurity expert at Drexel University, says the war scenarios don't seem particularly secret.
"A lot of that stuff is digested from publicly available resources, and the average person can find that type of information," he tells KYW Newsradio. "It doesn't look like there is anything too sensitive here"
Central Command issued a statement confirming that its Twitter and Youtube accounts were compromised and said it was taking measures to address the matter.
The Twitter feed began to show signs of hacking about 12:45pm. A half-hour later, the account was suspended.
