Two Years Later, Still No Sign Of Missing Chester County Woman

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - It's been two years since a Chester County, Pa. woman went missing after leaving a party at the Lower Merion home of a former member of the Philadelphia 76ers, but her family and a private investigator aren't giving up hope.

The reports of sightings continue to come in, but so far police have come up empty in the search for 31-year-old Toni Sharpless of West Brandywine Township. She was last seen in the early morning hours of August 23, 2009, when she argued with a close friend outside former Sixer Willie Green's home on the Main Line.

She drove off and hasn't been seen since.

Private investigator Eileen Law believes Sharpless ran out of gas and may have fallen prey to someone who targets vulnerable women.

"I'm a thousand percent certain that this wasn't something where Toni walked away. This was something where the state, the condition she was in … she was taken advantage of, if you will."

Law says Sharpless has bipolar disorder and may have had too much to drink that night.

The most recent sightings of Sharpless were reported in the New Castle, Del. area after a recent rerun of an episode of "Disappeared" on the Discovery Network.
