Two Teens Wounded In North Philly Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting in North Philadelphia that left two teens wounded.
It happened just after 10 p.m. Friday along the 2400 block of Glenwood Avenue near the Raymond Rosen public Housing Complex.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was walking with his 19-year-old cousin when they were approached from behind by an unidentified gunman who opened fire, striking both teens.
The gunman fled the scene and the victims ran into the home of the 19-year-old cousin and called police.
They were both taken to Temple University Hospital. The 15-year-old was shot once in the hip and was listed in stable condition. His cousin suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his back, chest and leg. He was listed in critical condition.
The suspect is described as a thin, light-skinned black male in his late or early twenties, standing between 5'-11" and 6'1. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
