At 1:19 a.m. Horsham Township police responded to a report of a one-vehicle car crash near the intersection of Witmer and Norristown Roads. Upon arrival, police found a Honda Civic in the rear yard of a residence.
Two passengers, Robert Walker Nagle, age 19, of Ambler and Edward Taylor Coombs, age 19, of Horsham, were found dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined that Connor McNicholas was driving his 2007 Honda Civic, with four other passengers. He was traveling westbound on Witmer Road, when his car traveled off the road and struck a curb.
The car continued to travel off the road as it crossed over Wade Avenue and landed in the front yard of the property located at 600 Wade Avenue. McNicholas' car continued to travel through the yard and stuck several trees before coming to rest.
The other three occupants, Connor James McNicholas, age 19, of Ambler, Darryl Neville, Jr., age 18, of Darby, and Timothy Kurpiel, age 19, of Horsham, were transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

In a statement to police, one of the occupants said that the car's speedometer read 99 MPH seconds before the crash. Police also learned that all of the teens had just left a party where they were drinking alcohol.
