Two SEPTA Buses Collide In Northeast Philadelphia, Several Injured

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Nine people, including a bus driver, were injured after two SEPTA buses collided in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Algon and Oxford Avenues in the city's Lawncrest neighborhood.

SEPTA officials says it appears a Route 67 bus struck a Route 24 bus from behind.

Six passengers and the operator of the striking bus suffered minor injuries. Two passengers on the Route 24 bus also suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
