Two People Injured In West Philadelphia Bar Fight Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two people were injured overnight after a large fight broke out outside of a West Philadelphia bar.
Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of the shooting at the Good Times Bar Two on Lansdowne Avenue, where they found a 22-year-old female shot in the shin and a 31-year-old male shot in the right knee.
Further investigation by police revealed that a fight had broken out outside of the bar, resulting in an unknown male firing shots into the crowd. The suspect was described as a black male in his mid 20s, about 5'7" or 5'8" and of medium build, with a light complexion. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat jacket, a blue baseball hat and black sneakers, and he had a full, close-cropped beard.
The male victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the female was transported to Lankenau Hospital. No arrests have been made.
