Two Gardens In Philadelphia Region Ranked Among Best In The Country
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It's National Garden Month, and in celebration, a popular travel website has ranked the top 10 public gardens in the country.
TripAdvisor says it has "cultivated" the best gardens in the U.S., and two of them are in the Philadelphia region.
Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square, came in second behind the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine.
Wayne, Pa.'s Chanticleer came in 10th.
Other finalists on the TripAdvisor list include the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
