Two Injured In Wilmington House Fire
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Two people were injured in an overnight house fire.
At 3:21 a.m., Wilmington firefighters responded to 2811 North Tatnall Street after they received word that two people were trapped inside a burning house.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a two story, middle-of-the-row dwelling. One of the subjects inside the house was able to escape to a porch roof and was removed by firefighters, and a second occupant was found inside the house and removed by firefighters.
Both victims were transported to Christiana Hospital, where one is listed in stable and the other is in critical condition.
The fire was placed under control shortly after 4 a.m.
