Two Defendants Held By Judge In Shooting Death Of 15-Year-Old Girl

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- A judge found enough evidence to hold two defendants, 19 and 15, in the shooting death of a 15-year-old school girl back in September.
Authorities say there was an ongoing feud between groups of teens, and a group from Nicetown headed up to Olney for a confrontation.
There was one battle, broken up by police, and then a short time later another confrontation on Old York Road by Broad street and the Einstein Medical center.
Defendant Darien Person is the alleged shooter, and co-defendant Quadir Gibson, 15, allegedly gave the order to shoot, which he admitted in a statement to police read in court by the judge.
"The judge essentially said Mr. Gibson saw Mr. Person with the gun, take the gun out of the bag, and he said throw that "bleep" at them. And Mr Person unloaded a number of shots hitting two people," said prosecutor Mark Levenberg.
Aisha Abdur-Rhaman, 15, was on the sidewalk in the area walking home from school at Delaware Valley Charter. She was shot in the back and died. The defense declined comment after the hearing.
