The Vampire Diaries was nominated for a staggering number of Teen Choice Awards, and thanks to the power of the dedicated fandom, TVD nearly swept their categories by winning 6 of 7. Kat Graham and Paul Wesley were also nominated (Choice TV Actress/Actor), but their fellow cast members beat them for the title. Here's a complete list of all the winners. Congratulations to the talented TVD cast!
Winners:
- Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi Winner -- The Vampire Diaries

- Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi Winner -- Nina Dobrev
- Choice TV Female Scene Stealer Winner -- Candice Accola
- Choice TV Male Scene Stealer Winner -- Michael Trevino

Creator, Julie Plec, and TVD cast members took to Twitter after the wins. Let's see what they have to say.
Ooh, hey, apparently we won 6! It's because @iansomerhalder is an over-achiever and couldn't just win one, he had to win two.

Joseph Morgan plays original vamp Klaus on TVD and was nominated for TV Choice Villain. Sadly, he didn't pull out a win this year. But he's still my villain of choice!
