PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Republican frontrunner Donald Trump may have won the night on Super Tuesday but New Jersey Governor Chris Christie won the the Internet.
Former rival turned supporter Chris Christie grabbed the attention of social media users who mocked his facial expression during Donald Trump's victory speech in Florida on Super Tuesday.
Christie said, "Tonight is the beginning of Donald Trump bringing the Republican Party together"
As he stood behind his party's frontrunner, many observers likened Christie to a hostage reading a ransom note, within minutes the hashtag #FreeChrisChristie began to trend on Twitter.
Ladies and gentlemen it appears Christie is being held captive as a hostage. Someone needs to free him. #freeChrisChristie
