LOWER PROVIDENCE, Pa. (CBS) -- A 44-year-old Reading, Pa. man has been charged in connection with the head-on crash last April between two tractor-trailers that left one man dead and closed down a Montgomery County road for several days.
Edwin Olivo is charged with homicide by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed, and reckless endangerment for the April 27th crash on South Park Avenue in Lower Providence Township.

Montgomery County district attorney Risa Ferman says the accident investigation found that Olivo's commercial driver's license had been suspended, he didn't properly connect the trailer to his truck, and he was going too fast around a curve.
"The sum total of all of those actions took another human being's life -- that's why he was charged," Ferman tells KYW Newsradio.
According to investigators, Olivo's trailer came loose and went into the oncoming lane as he sped around the curve. The driver of the other truck, 40-year-old Jermon Jeffers, was killed in the fiery crash.
