Treating Lung Cancer At Aria Health
According to the Centers for Disease Control, more people in the United States die from lung cancer than any other type of cancer.
The most recent statistics show more than 203,000 people in the U.S. were diagnosed with lung cancer in just one year -- more than 158,000 died.
And if you are or have been a smoker, you are at a much greater risk of developing lung cancer in your lifetime.
Today at Aria Health, there are new and successful approaches to treating early stage lung cancer.
To talk about those approaches is Dr. Richard Chang -- a thoracic surgeon -- and Dr. Eric Gressen, a radiation oncologist for Aria Health.
