Train Hits Car Stuck On Tracks In Montgomery County
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities say a car struck on the tracks was hit by a freight train overnight in Montgomery County.
Officials say a sedan was stuck on railroad tracks near 2nd and Depot Streets in Bridgeport around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when it was struck by a Norfolk Southern Train.
The driver of the vehicle was able to escape the vehicle before the train slammed into it.
No injuries were reported.
