Train And Car Collide In Burlington County

CINNAMINSON, N.J. (CBS) -- New Jersey Transit officials says a car that tried to drive around crossing gates at the Union Landing Road crossing in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, was struck by a Riverline train en route from Trenton to Camden around 11 this morning.
Video from Chopper 3 shows the car crumpled against a shed at the crossing. New Jersey Transit tells CBS 3 the driver escaped unhurt, but two of 35 passengers aboard the train were examined for minor injuries.
Officials did not identify the driver or provide any additional details about the accident.

SEPTA today conducted an all-day Safety Awareness Project. Employees at all 120 stations system wide passed out safety literature to riders. (See Related Story)
