Traffic Stop Leads To Arrests, Drug Seizures In New York
ALPINE, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a traffic stop in northern New Jersey has led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of two indoor marijuana farms in New York.
Officers pulled over 39-year-old Robert Sciolo and 48-year-old Terrance Quinn on Tuesday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine. Police say the New York men were taken into custody after police found marijuana and counterfeit DVDs in their vehicle.
During subsequent raids, police say they found more than 600 prescription pills and large 38 marijuana plants at Quinn's home in the Bronx. Police found 40 more marijuana plants during a second search in Maybrook, New York.
The two men face drug charges. It's unclear if they have attorneys who could comment on the charges.
