Over A Dozen Hospitalized After Tractor Trailer, School Bus Collide In Luzerne County
HAZLE TWP., Pa. (CBS) – Officials are investigated what caused a tractor trailer and a school bus to collided in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
The incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. Friday along Interstate 81 in Hazle Township.
Officials say first responders are on scene and a landing zone is being established for a medical helicopter.
Hazleton Hospital officials say they received 18 children with mostly bumps and bruises or as a precaution.
The southbound lanes of I-81 have been closed.
