Tractor-Trailer Crash Along I-295 NB Snarls Traffic
WESTVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- A tractor-trailer crash snarled traffic along a heavily-traveled road in South Jersey Friday morning.
The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-295 at the Creek Road underpass approaching Route 42.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed a tractor-trailer that lost control and slammed into an embankment. The driver was not seriously injured.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
As a result of the crash, only the two lefts lanes were able to squeeze by. Officials said the tractor was going to stay where it was until the morning rush hour was over.
The crash remains under investigation.
