Toygers And Other Kitties On The Cat Walk At The Pennsylvania Convention Center
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you are a cat lover, the PURR-fect place to be is the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the International Cat Association is holding its Annual All Breed and Household Pet Cat Show.
Cats and kittens of every color, breed and hair lengths sat in comfortable carriers or were judged at a dozen judging booths as cat lovers wandered the exhibit. Judy Sugden of Los Angeles was showing her new breed of Toygers cats and kittens.
"We're trying to imitate both a tiger and a toy, and so we don't know how close we can get to a tiger, because of course there is no tiger blood in a Toyger, a tiger would make a domestic cat ..LUNCH, so we're trying to get as close as we can to a toy tiger. "
She came pretty close. The Toygers, including Jungle Zolo, a grand champion and a couple kittens looked almost exactly like a tiger in miniature. The cat show runs through Sunday at the Convention Center.
