The lighting of the menorah is a centuries-old tradition dating back to the miraculous eight-day burning at the Holy Temple of Jerusalem. To celebrate this sacred event, Chabad Lubavitch Center will hold South Jersey's Annual Car Menorah Parade on Dec. 9. Menorahs will be placed on car rooftops free of charge, and the convoy of cars will then depart from the Chabad Center and end at Barclays Shopping Center for a menorah lighting.
