The festival offers fun activities and games for everyone, including a corn maze, straw maze, farm animals, a giant spider web climber and a rope maze. Shady Brook also features a Barn of Horror Junior and Alien Invasion Junior, a slightly spooky treat for the children to enjoy. Later in the night, adults can hit the Barn of Horror.

The arboretum also features a haunted barn for the family to enjoy together this season.

For families with children ages 7 or older, stop by the Eastern State Penitentiary. Watch kids learn a little history exploring cell blocks and touring the facility, because the tours for children this age also have an educational aspect to them. Not only do children have fun here, but they also learn...and get to take home a poster.
