For something a little different, or even for those who regularly celebrate Australian Christmas in July, you can head out to Chalfont for this special concert when Music 4 Nothin is featured. Just bring a blanket and enjoy the free concert, and afterwards as the sun sets, the Christmas lights come on! If you wish to eat dinner here also, there's a BBQ at 5 p.m. for $18 a person. Reservations are suggested. Byers is a beautiful location complete with a Christmas Museum and is famous for its handcrafted carolers and holiday décor.

For the 24th year, Rittenhouse Square Park will feature new and emerging artists from the region. You can enjoy either (or both) of two different three-hour concerts in one of the most beautiful parks in Philadelphia. The concert is free and attracts about 10,000 people each year. Rittenhouse Park is located with plenty of opportunities around for you to enjoy food, beverages and, of course, the shopping in the area as well as the music. This event is hosted by Philadelphia Weekly (PW) Magazine.

If you want to take in some additional culture with your concerts, consider the PECO Multicultural series this summer. The Festival of India is part of the PECO multicultural music festival that is hosted also by the Council of Indian Organizations (CIO). The festival celebrates India's independence while offering a peek into the colorful and vibrant culture. Music, food and art including dance and fashion will be presented.

Once a month on Wednesdays (rain dates are the following Thursday), Kahn Park puts on a variety of different concerts. Kahn Park is a small park in the heart of Antique Row Center City which formerly housed The Gladstone Hotel. Enjoy a nice relaxing evening with friends and neighbors. The concert series will feature a variety of different genres of music from jazz to pop. The remaining acts for this summer's series includes Perseverance Jazz Band, Phyllis Chapell and Siora and Merion Concert Band.

Top off your Friday evenings this August with some smooth jazz and relax with the cool river breeze. This annual concert series features nationally renowned jazz musicians. After the show, you will be treated with fireworks thanks to the Delaware Riverfront. The event kicks off on August 1 with David Benoit and later includes Chris Standring, Next Generation, Eric Darius and Valerie Simpson.
