Top Cops From Around World In Philadelphia For IACP Conference

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Nearly 14,000 attendees are expected at the 120th annual International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference, that began Saturday.
There are more than 400 events planned , 250 workshops and 750 vendors with the latest services, equipment and technology.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey welcomed the members of the IACP on Saturday afternoon and talked about policing in the 21st century:
"Partnerships and collaborations with people in the communities academy private security and more are needed to strengthen our ability to combat crime and disorder in our neighborhoods."
Abimbola Macaulay, a Commissioner of Police in Nigeria, has been in the association for 20 years:
"You learn technologies , new ways of attacking criminalities so it's very important for us and that is why we come."
