Tony Romo On Jimmy Kimmel: 'I Do Not Like' The Eagles
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Eagles and Cowboys are one of the NFL's biggest rivalries. When star running back DeMarco Murray left Dallas and chose Philly because it was his best opportunity to "win a Super Bowl" just last week, the rivalry immediately intensified.
"Yeah, I do not like them," Romo said Wednesday on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. "I was close with DeMarco. I'm disappointed we lost him."
Romo went on to tell a story about a time when he was on a bus talking with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, his son and Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones, and head coach Jason Garrett.
"We'd actually had a few drinks at the time. I looked over at Stephen, who is probably going to take over for Jerry one day as the owner. I said, 'Stephen you've got 25 to 30 years left to go win championships. I look over at Jason, I'm like, 'You're the next Tom Landry. You've got 25 to 30 years left to go win championships.' And I didn't know what I was saying at the time, but I'm like, "Me and Jerry got like four or five years left only!'"
