PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tickets for the upcoming Beach Boys reunion show in Camden, NJ go on sale tomorrow morning.
"Round, round, get around, I get around..."
Fifty years since their first big hit, the Beach Boys are getting around again.
"Since we're all in good health and in good voice, why not?" says David Marks (second from left in photo), who was a member of the iconic group in 1962 and 1963 and played and sang on their first four albums.
Marks says the Beach Boys will playing in this area on Saturday, June 16th, at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden.
And he says the reunion tour is very different from the touring they did as kids.
"We had to do a lot of cover tunes because we had to fill in a lot of space at night," he recalls. "And we'd have three sets -- we'd do, like, high school dances and that sort of thing. These days it's just the big venues, and our show is more professional. Obviously we have all these years to perfect it."
What's it like to be back together?
"It's a like a family reunion," he tells KYW Newsradio. "The five of us get along great, the five of us picked up right from the last time we saw each other, and the chemistry is still there."
