Three Injured In DUI Crash In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three people were injured and a man is facing DUI charges after a violent overnight crash in Northeast Philadelphia.
The accident happened just after midnight Friday along the 3200 block of Rhawn Street in the city's Holmesburg section.
Police say the driver of a Honda Element was going nearly 100 miles per hour when he lost control of the car, crossed the double yellow lines and struck a Nissan Arcadia.
A 50-year-old man and a 77-year-old man were hospitalized in serious condition.
The 25-year-old driver of the Honda was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in stable condition.
Police say that driver has been charged with DUI.
