Three Finalists In Running For New Jersey's New Summer Anthem Contest

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) - New Jersey is looking for a new summer anthem to take the place of a song that's become a real earworm in the months since Hurricane Sandy.
Calling people back to the shore after Sandy, the heart of 'Stronger Than The Storm' is in the right place, but even Governor Christie wouldn't mind singing a different tune:
"It's so stuck in my head now, I don't know how they could replace it. (Sings: ooh oh-oh-oh)"
More than 200 people submitted their music for consideration as the follow-up single; you can pick from among three finalists.
There's 'The Jersey Shore' by Andrew Warren of Ocean City; 'Jersey Strong,' by the Oakhurst, Monmouth County-based band After the Reign; and 'Come On Down,' by Jojo Sueta and Bob Smith of Shark River Hills, Monmouth County.
"If they can come up with something better than 'Stronger Than The Storm,' amen -- go ahead," Gov. Christie said.
The winner gets to be the opening act for a to-be-announced "major" artist at a shore concert next month.
