PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The weather was perfect for the annual Gary Papa Father's Day 5-K run. The run raises money for prostate cancer research, education, and screenings.
Runners stepped off at Eakins Oval on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway Sunday morning.
Close to 5,000 men, women, and children turned out for the event.
The money raised is donated to local charities and foundations.
