Thousands Gather In Philadelphia For 3rd Annual Justice Conference

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Representatives from more than 44 states and 24 countries are gathering here in Philadelphia for the third annual Justice Conference.
The two-day event takes place this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. They're tackling issues ranging from human trafficking to HIV/AIDS.
Ken Wytsma founded The Justice Conference in 2010. He says the conference's goal is to create an open platform for communication and to create tools that will help to fix the problems of global communities.
"There's something really meaningful about justice. It's a universal thing, so we tried to create a conference where we could explore and go deeper than just the causes and get beneath the surface and also be able to help educate and inspire people around a whole lot of things, expose them to a lot of different organizations."
Wytsma says they're using an array of platforms to get the message across: "The music, art -- a variety of different speakers on a variety of different topics and really exploring the idea of justice and this call to live and die for the good thing."
