Third Lane Reopens On Delaware Memorial Bridge
CARNEYS POINT, NJ (CBS) -- The Delaware River and Bay Authority announced that the urgent construction on the Delaware Memorial Bridge has been completed.
A third lane on the southbound span of the bridge was reopened as of 7:37 p.m. on Thursday.
The DRBA announced that the left lane of the bridge will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Construction crews worked to do repairs and replace several suspension ropes on the bridge.
